What we are looking for:


We are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor for a FIFO role out of Perth WA to Karratha WA.

This position involves working on a WaterCorp project, reporting to the Senior HSE Advisor you will be responsible for the following:

  • Support operations to execute company and client HSE initiatives.
  • Effective implementation of company HSE policy, procedures & standards through training, coaching and regular communication.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and assist with solution development and implementation.
  • Coach and support the Project Team and Contracting Partners to develop and review HSE management plans and risk registers, consistent with site/project needs.
  • Coach Project Team and Contracting Partners management requirements including review of SWMS, completion of company and site inductions, participation in pre-starts, conduct of daily plant check sheets and compliance with HSEMPs.
  • Collaborate with management and staff to promote a positive health and safety culture.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role you must have the following:

Accreditations (Mandatory):

  • WHS / OHS Diploma
  • Minimum 5 yrs experience in a HSE Advisory Role
  • Lead ICAM Investigation or similar
  • Ability to evaluate information quickly, identify key issues and formulate conclusions based on sound, practical judgement, experience, and common sense
  • Ability to work under broad direction, exercise initiative and be innovative in the approach to problem solving

Accreditations (Desirable)

  • Tertiary qualifications in Health and Safety, Occupational Health, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the Tier 1 construction industry, preferably with experience dealing with WA resource clients.
  • Water Corp Exposure
